Western Digital 500GB SATA 2,5" hard drive that is enduring mechanical clicks

Hi. I have a Western Digital 500GB SATA 2,5″ hard drive that is enduring mechanical clicks. It does receive power but It does not establish link to a computer’s SATA controller card to display its content. I have checked the platter inside. Seems good. The drive’s heads simply click non-stop when connected to a USB port using a USB external adapter. The board number is 2060-771672-004 REV B. I hope your board can solve my problems. Please respond. Thank you

If your HDD has clicking noise, swapping PCB may not help. In most cases, this is the heads stack problem.
