Hi, I’m in Aiustralia and there is an exact matching pcb available but it is for a ST380215A ie. 80gig. Mine is a ST3160215A ie. 160gig. I am guessing it would work okay unless the onboard Bios is st to a size?
Please check the board numbers are same or not.
Thanks for getting back to me. I found the compatibility stuff on your website.
With the firmware, numbers etc. all being exactly the same except for disk size, I can see
that the pcb I found in Victoria Australia was the same as mine. Just that it came from a ST380215A which is 80 gig drive. Mind is a 150 gig drive ST3160215A. Now if the Bios gets
set for the size of the disk, I don’t know. Might have to swap to my Bios to the new board. Will fit it and see if it all starts to work. Fingers crossed. They are old drives too.
Pleae advise the board number.
PCB board number is 100431066 REV C. These all match except for the Model; mine being ST3160215A.

When you get this PCB, you need to move your original PCB’s BIOS to the replacement PCB. The 8pins (4 pins on each sides) with 25P05VP、25P10VP、25F512、25F1024、25F1024AN、SST25VF512、SST25VF010, etc. are the BIOS.
