Q: Hi, I have the following Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 360 Gbytes
S/N 6QF2N75D
ST3360320AS
P/N 9BJ13J-622
FIRMWARE: 3.CHL
DATE CODE: 08162 SITE CODE: SU3
THE PBD STICKER SHOWS: 100436226 F K8148RA1
LSI CHIP: TTB4398AO
AS PER YOUR PICTURES IT IS A “REV A”
I NEED A REPLACEMENT PCB ONLY (NOT THE WHOLE DRIVE)
A: Please advise the board number which is etched on the PCB, as the attached photo.
Q: Thanks for the speedy reply.
I assume that is on the other side of my board.
Unfortunately the PCB is still attached to the drive and I don’t have correct tool to remove it right now.
I have attached a picture (Red circle is the burnt out resistor) Can you advise which PCB I need from this or must I remove it from the drive. If I remove it, do I simply undo the screws? (Shown as red stars on the attached picture) and lift it off, or is there a specific procedure to follow?
A: http://www.hddzone.com/seagate-100435196-pcb-p-45.html is your donor PCB. You can order a screw driver with the PCB.
