Has USB interface. I need a new PCB board because the USB port broke

Please see attached photos. My friend tried to resolder the same original USB port after it broke but I don’t think it worked.

We don’t have the same USB PCB. However, we have the SATA one https://www.hddzone.com/samsung-pcb-bf4100200a-p-593.html can be used as your donor PCB.

The PCB’s BIOS is integrated into the Main Controller IC. You should exchange the Main Controller IC to let the HDD be recognized. Move the Main Controller IC(the biggest chip on the board) is a complex job which need you have certain technique. Some electronics repair shop can do it.

The Board I have has USB interface which I sent you pictures. The one you are recommending from your shop is SATA. Should I still swap the Main Controller IC? Will it work even if interface is different on both boards?

They are interconvertible. The Main Controller IC still need to be changed with the same board number as bf41-00234a.
