I have an Intenso external HDD of 2TB which I overpowered by mistake. Inside there is an HDD Seagate Baracuda of 2Tb with picture. If I am powering it again the PCB is heating next to 2 capacitors. Most probably the PCB is damaged and I need an replacement.
I am living in Switzerland but I can access after the lock down a POBOX in Germany.
Attached are the pictures of the HDD label and the PCB’s both sides.
Most probably I need from your side to transfer the firmware info from my PCB to another one.
The HDD info:
Model: ST2000DM001
Board #: 100664987
Firmware: CC4B
Capacity: 2TB
I would like to know how much will cost a replacement PCB with transferred firmware and post costs. I would prefer to repair it in EU.
We just sell PCB.
