Hard Drive Circuit Board

1. Where to buy hard drive circuit boards? – I searched with the search function, I read the FAQ, I used google to the best of my ability and I still can’t find ANYWHERE.
I want to buy a replacement hard drive logic board for my Maxtor 6Y080P0? I have a perfectly good drive that only has a bad logic board on it and you guys know my pain… that’s 80GB that I just don’t want to throw away. Maybe it’s just because my first hard drive was 202MB(yes I know that’s big compared to some older people) but I don’t want to just throw it away! So if you could help me out I’d appreciate it.

2. Hard Drive Circuit Board replacement? – My 2nd drive (500GB) no longer works….
A: If 2nd Drive is installed in the computer and i start the computer, it gets to the bios then restarts itself.
B: When it is not installed the computer runs.
I really don’t want to do anything reckless as I don’t want to lose the data on it if i don’t have to.
C: I’ve been told that the Circuit Board might be bad and that it can be replaced with a same model. and not cause any problems.
D: Does this seem reasonable? or does it seem like another problem?
E: If i do need a different CB, what Specs would i have to match? I thank you all in advance.

3. Replacing hard drive circuit board on seagate – I have matched a seagate circuit board. Can I simply replace it? The sata data connect got broken.
