I have an issue with my previous college laptop, I dismounted it and took the hdd to get the data inside it, but I accidentally noticed that I burned the PCB, so, searching on your web I find similar models to my PCB which has the numbers
“100720903 04”
“34M59”
“M8_REV.07”
“R00”
I want to know, if you can help me, if I can use some of the “ST1000LM024 Seagate PCB 100720903” in your catalog, and I have that question because you say in your FAQ that REV A-E, REV P1-P2, 00, 01 and 02 are compatible, but I have the “M8_REV.07”, and… to know, when I have the new PCB in the possible future, I just only need to change the 8 pins chip from one to the other to make de hdd work? I attach photos and thank you for your time and response. 🙂
If your HDD’s problem is caused by PCB, swapping PCB and BIOS will help.
If you still worry, you can note you need 100720903 04 one.
